Project Engineer

Description

Performance Mechanical Inc. is searching for a Project Engineer who will be responsible for overseeing projects from planning, through construction, to demobilization and archiving of all pertinent project documentation. The Project Engineer will regularly monitor cost and schedule to assure the project is meeting its objectives. The Project Engineer will report to a Project Manager or General Manager.

This candidate will also need to:

  Assure the Client's expectations are met as specified by the construction contract.

  Assure through all means available that the Company's safety, quality and performance expectations are met or exceeded.

  n

• n

  Monitor and report to Company's Management, and the Client as required, the status of the project in terms of cost and schedule.

  n

• n

  Process change orders and negotiate their acceptance with the Client.

  n
n
• n

  Maintain Change Order documentation and log.

  n
n
• n

  Meet regularly with the Project Team to assess problems and concerns and assist in developing and implementing resolutions and plans.

  n

• n

  Assure Project Team Members are maintaining their responsibilities.

  n
n
• n

  Assure at project completion that all necessary project documentation is properly packaged, marked, and stored in Company's archive room.

  n

• n

  Meet with client to perform schedule sales calls.

  n
n
• n

  Assist cost estimation.

  n
n
• n

  Able to read plans and specifications.

  n
n

Required Experience:

n
• n

  1+ Years Industrial construction project management (ie: petrochemical, power, manufacturing) experience

  n
n
• n

  Highly Proficient in MS Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel; Adobe or Blue Beam;

  n
n
• n

  Highly motivated and teamwork oriented;

  n
n

Preferred Experience:

n
• Construction Management or Engineering Degree preferred
n

Pay Range

$60,000-$65,000
