Professional Services Specialist

Pay Range: $18.50 - $26.50

Purpose: At Floor & Decor, our mission is to be the leading destination for our professional clients in the hard surface flooring space. As a Professional Services Specialist, your primary focus will be on cultivating strong relationships with our PRO customers, earning their trust, and supporting their business growth. You will report to the PRO Services Manager and actively contribute to the implementation of Floor & Decor's PRO initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand trends within the PRO Market.
• Collaborate closely with the Installation Materials and Design Services teams to enhance our sales strategies and better serve PRO customers.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree or higher preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in retail or wholesale contractor sales, service, supply, or professional installation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or CRM software is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish or another dominant language in the trade-area is advantageous.

Essential Job Functions:

• Execute the PRO Services Blueprint to provide an exceptional experience for our PRO customers.
• Assist at the PRO service desk, managing phone calls, orders, and customer inquiries.
• Work with the Store Team to identify and engage PRO clients.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge about Floor & Decor products.
• Train and guide the Store Team in effective selling processes.
• Educate PRO customers about our business and encourage their participation.
• Facilitate sign-ups for the PRO Premier Rewards Program and demonstrate the PRO APP benefits.
• Promote financing options such as the Commercial Business Account and PRO Premier Credit Card.
• Help coordinate in-store activities for PRO customers.
• Collaborate on various store initiatives.
• Deliver engaging presentations highlighting program benefits.
• Exhibit outstanding customer service skills and a results-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to connect with individuals across diverse backgrounds.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for customer site visits with the PRO Services Manager.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to achieve business objectives.

Working Conditions:

• This is an hourly position, with potential for shifts exceeding eight hours per day.
• Travel may be required up to 20% of the time.
• Work environment may include exposure to a warehouse setting and moving vehicles, with noise levels ranging from moderate to noisy.
• Medium Work: Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.

Store Hours: Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM; Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM; Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
