Position Summary

Specialty Coder is responsible for maintaining current and high-quality ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS and/or CPT coding for both inpatient and outpatient diagnoses and procedural occurrences. The coder reviews clinical documentation and diagnostic results, ensuring consistent coding accuracy rate of 95% or better. Accurate abstraction of data into all appropriate health electronic medical record systems is required, verifying accurate patient dispositions and physician data while following official ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS Guidelines for Coding and Reporting and AMA CPT Guidelines.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience.
• Primary Podiatry/Secondary Ortho experience.

Length of Assignment: 12 Weeks

Shift / Hours per week: Full-time (40 Hours)

Systems: Epic, Athena, Cerner
