Meat Packager (Production Setting) needed at family-owned meat processing facility in Eastpointe, MI!

Shift is 6:00AM - 2:30PM, M-F. Pay rate is $17.00 an hour and this is a contract to hire after 90 Days.

Job duties: - Work with raw meats in production of sausages - Mix raw meats - Accurately weight product - Occasionally operate meat grinding machinery - Rack meats - Help with the set up and tear down of machinery - Maintain organized/accurate records and paperwork - Work in a cold environment with temperatures ranging from 39-44 degrees Fahrenheit (dress in layers) - Assist with equipment sanitation, maintain a clean work area - Must be open to rotating throughout shift depending on production needs (all within meat packaging dept.)

This role requires the ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift. Candidates must adhere to facility food GMPs and will sign off on this policy to insure agreement.
