Job Description

The Tablets & Powders Tech III is responsible for the assembly and disassembly of production equipment, such as blenders, granulators, and tablet presses. This role also involves operating production equipment, preparing products for veterinary clinics, and packaging items for shipping. The technician will work closely with senior employees to blend pharmaceutical products and manage the compression process through various machines. Meticulous documentation of completed work and adherence to work order forms are crucial aspects of this position.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble production equipment.

• Clean and operate production equipment.

• Prepare products into display boxes and shipping boxes.

• Palletize boxes weighing between 20 to 40 pounds.

• Collaborate with senior employees to blend pharmaceutical products.

• Compress pharmaceutical products using various machines.

• Document completed work and follow work order forms.

Essential Skills

• At least 6 months of experience in packaging, inventory, or shipping.

• Ability to document work orders accurately.

• Proficiency in reading work orders and performing cycle counts.

• Experience in operating machinery for at least 6 months.

• Capability to clean and disassemble or assemble machinery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions in a regulated environment.

• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm. Employees will work in a team of 11, often paired with another team member. The facility requires a specific dress code, including leather shoes, scrubs, safety glasses, and hair nets, with a clean-shaven policy and minimal jewelry. The environment can be dusty, requiring respirators and dust masks. The role involves handling potent ingredients, necessitating attention to detail. No cell phones or food/drink are allowed in the production area.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
