A Production Supervisor in wind tower manufacturing oversees daily operations across assigned departments to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. They coordinate production schedules, manage workforce assignments, and resolve bottlenecks to keep projects on track. The role involves enforcing safety standards, monitoring equipment performance, and maintaining compliance with quality specifications. Supervisors also train and coach employees, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and serve as the link between frontline teams and management.

Primary Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily production schedules to meet quality and output goals.

Monitor employee performance, address underperformance, and resolve workplace disputes constructively.

Ensure all team members comply with safety regulations and use required PPE at all times.

Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Utilize production and time management software to track productivity, identify bottlenecks, and maintain schedules.

Uphold quality assurance standards and manage nonconformance issues proactively.

Implement and monitor HACCP protocols to maintain food safety (if applicable).

Mentor and develop team members through coaching, performance reviews, and corrective action when needed.

Collaborate with cross-functional departments including QA, logistics, and maintenance.

Foster a positive and cooperative team environment by addressing conflict and promoting collaboration.

Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

Maintain a clean & organized work area; utilize safe work habits.

Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
