Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor will oversee the mold and bond area, primarily working with presses. The role involves supervising 25-40 employees, writing daily end-of-shift reports, and being hands-on to assist team members with tasks such as deflashing, inspecting, and operating machines. The Production Supervisor will also be the first line of maintenance, addressing machine issues before involving the maintenance team. Responsibilities include process improvement, 5S implementation, tracking production, reducing downtime and scrap, training and developing employees, and managing timecards and attendance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the mold and bond area, focusing on machinery such as presses.
• Oversee 25-40 employees and write daily shift reports.
• Provide hands-on assistance in deflashing, inspecting, and operating machines.
• Address machine issues before calling in maintenance.
• Implement process improvements, 5S, and continuous improvement.
• Track production metrics and work to reduce downtime and scrap.
• Train and develop employees in operational skills.
• Manage timecards and attendance tracking.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Email.
• Experience in process improvement, implementation, or 5S.
• Experience leading and supervising teams of 20 or more employees.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Knowledge of molding processes such as compression, blow, or injection molding.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $63000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
