Production Worker

Join our dynamic team as a Production Worker where you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities

• Pre-label bags and feed them into the bagger system.
• Understand and operate the bagger software, performing light maintenance as required.
• Ensure bags are properly sealed and products meet weight standards.
• Operate panning machines, extrusion lines, and crunch lines.
• Mix, batch, pan, and pack products.
• Lift up to 50lbs as needed.
• Pack, label, and stack products.
• Verify correct labeling on packaged boxes.
• Measure and weigh products into boxes with liners.
• Measure and blend ingredients, following precise instructions and completing required paperwork.
• Operate machinery and use pallet jacks efficiently.

Essential Skills

• At least 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred, with food manufacturing experience being advantageous.
• Mechanical aptitude is a must.
• Experience in packing, palletizing, visual inspection, machine operation, and blending.
• Demonstrated drive to advance within the company.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Work Environment

This position is based in a food manufacturing facility that adheres to strict health and safety guidelines. The environment is clean, well-lit, and fast-paced, requiring a lot of standing. Contractors are required to wear hairnets, beard nets, steel-toed shoes, and lab coats. The facility is climate-controlled but may reach up to 100 degrees due to machinery and ovens. The nature of the products may result in a dusty environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.50/hr.
