Production Associate

Cell Operators

Cell Operators will be stationed at their designated 'Cell' where they will take rubber products for the automotive industry through the production cycle. The process is consistent across different cells and involves multiple repetitive steps.

Responsibilities

• Fill the molding tool with raw material, placing metal rings into slots.
• Flip the tool onto the machine for the molding process.
• Cool the molded product using an air brush after removal from the machine.
• Inspect the finished rubber parts for defects such as air bubbles or rips.
• Weigh batches to ensure correct quantity has been produced.
• Conduct quality checks using a binder that outlines specific defects to look for.
• Maintain a shift log detailing operations, maintenance, and quality specifications.

Essential Skills

• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding English.

Available Shifts and Pay

• 2nd shift Monday-Friday (2pm-10pm or 3pm-11pm) // $23
• 3rd shift Sunday-Thursday (10pm-6am or 11pm-7am // $23
• Training will be on 1st shift for the first 2 weeks.

Work Environment

Operators work on a defined shift schedule with no rotation. The environment is climate-controlled, and operators are provided with safety glasses and Kevlar sleeves. Breaks are paid, and operators cannot leave the facility during shifts. Smoking and tobacco use are prohibited on the property.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
