Product Manager II, Hardware, Google Home

Overview

Product Manager II, Hardware, Google Home role at Google. This role focuses on guiding hardware-software products from conception to launch within the Google Home team, which develops hardware, software and services for the home.

Responsibilities

• Understand smart home markets, user requirements, and engaged dynamics.
• Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Business, Legal, UX, and Operations to develop and launch technologies.
• Develop solutions to problems by collaborating across regions, product areas, and functions.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
• 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
• Experience shipping consumer electronics products with a software service component.

Preferred qualifications

• Master’s degree in a technology or business related field.
• 3 years of experience presenting to executive leadership.
• 2 years of experience in hardware development or software engineering.
• 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders.
• Experience in User Experience.

Compensation

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and factors including job-related skills, experience, and education or training.
