Product Engineer

Job Title: Product Engineer

Location: Somerset, New Jersey

Type: Contract To Hire

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: 8 AM- 5 PM or 9 AM- 6 PM (some flex) M-F

Responsibilities:

  Design, develop, and manufacturer of electrodes (primarily composed of active material, conducting carbon and binder)

  n

• n

  Characterizing powders, films, and dispersions

  n
n
• n

  Will work with traditional materials (electrodes, powders), as well as new active materials under development for future commercialization

  n
n

Requirements:

• n

  BS/MS Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Materials Science and Engineering

  n
n
• n

  Hands-on experience with advanced materials - powder, dispersion/slurry, coating

  n
n
• n

  Two to five years industrial experience, chemical or materials industry

  n
n
• n

  Knowledge of Wet or Solid state chemistry

  n
n
• n

  Experience in using standard laboratory equipment

  n
n
• n

  Knowledge and Experience in characterizing powders, films and dispersions

  n
n
