Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer assisting in design and development of legacy and new product development. Role will be 50% in design and the other 50% in cross function groups out on floor talking with floor members etc. Real-time problem solving on the production line, root cause analysis, engineer would then solve the problem and get new design or process conditions put in place. Utilize Autodesk Inventor/Solidworks for legacy and new product development. Use FEA and GD&T to run analysis on feasibility of project. Utilize Microsoft suite to create project proposals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications: Qualifications: Must have Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (mechanical engineering, architecture, industrial engineering etc). Must have minimum 2 years of experience after school performing design/analysis of designs. Must have Inventor OR Solidworks design software. Ideal candidate has experience working with door and window casements and design of doors and windows.

Experience Level: Intermediate Level

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
