Product Development Scientist

Our client, a leader in the Health & Wellbeing industry, is seeking a Product Development Scientist to join their team. As a Product Development Scientist, you will be part of the R&D department supporting the New Product Development team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Product Development Scientist
Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ 100% onsite
Part time: 20 hours a week
Pay Range: $35 to $42 p/h w-2
Duration: 6 month contract
What's the Job?

• Support formulation design work for innovations to deliver safe, superior, consumer-winning products.
• Collaborate with other R&D functions to ensure timely delivery on assigned projects.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and legal requirements for products and processes.
• Identify and establish appropriate technology for manufacturing products to specification.
• Conduct shelf-life studies to establish and enhance the shelf-life of new products.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Food Science;
• 5 years of experience in formulation development or technology development.
• Good understanding of product development principles and consumer-friendly ingestible dosage forms.
• Working knowledge of product commercialization and technology transfer in manufacturing.
• Strong relationships and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
