Responsibilities

  Evaluate and design the workflow process within the steelmaking department.

  Develop and assist in the installation of new and improved process improvements throughout the steelmaking process.

  Monitor and analyze production data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process optimization.

  Diagnose failures, determine solutions, and make suggestions for improvement.

  Create reports with cost and time estimates for each project.

  Ensure process stability and consistency by developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, operations, and quality, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Work Environment

The role is set in a very heavy manufacturing environment, with both office and plant responsibilities. The position requires mobility throughout the entire plant and multiple mills. This is a great opportunity to be part of a SWOT team dedicated to tackling cost centers with the most opportunity for improvement and bringing an American steel mill back online to produce for years to come.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
