Job Details

Responsibilities:

Work as an onsite Process Engineer in a process plant environment.
Deliver designs and Engineering packages related to process engineering for industrial plants.
Define the scope of work discussing with customer, coordinate with the offshore team and deliver the engineering deliverables.
Coordinate with customer to collect all the required inputs to complete the engineering design.
Coordinate with vendors and construction team to get the required information for completing the design and technical evaluation of vendor quotations.
ttend design reviews along with customer and the construction team and get the necessary approvals.
Support in construction and start up activities.
Support start-up activities as needed.

Requirements:

Should have worked as a Process design Engineer for industrial plants (Chemical, Agrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Fine chemicals, Specialty chemicals, Food & Beverages).
Strong knowledge on chemical engineering fundamentals like heat transfer, fluid mechanics, solid handling, mass transfer etc.
bility to prepare and review PFD's and P&IDs.
bility to perform mass & energy balance calculation, process equipment sizing calculations, line sizing and hydraulic calculations.
Should be able to specify process plant equipment and hands on experience in sizing and selection of equipment as per project requirement.
Powder handling equipment sizing and design experience is a must.
Should be able to specify pump, heat exchanger, tank and other equipment independently.
Experience working in process safety management activities, Sizing & selection of safety devices would be a plus.
Conversant with MS office application is must.
Familiarity in working in AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with Aspen plus, HTRI, AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow and any other hydraulic calculation software will be an added advantage.
