Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on and mechanically inclined Process Engineer to support our plastic injection molding operations. This role focuses on equipment troubleshooting, hydraulic systems, and mold maintenance.

Responsibilities

  Troubleshoot and repair injection molding equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

  Perform routine and preventive maintenance on molds and related machinery.

  Support mold changeovers, setup, and optimization for production efficiency.

  Diagnose and resolve issues related to mold performance, cycle times, and part quality.

  Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.

  Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, mold performance, and corrective actions.

  Assist in the installation and commissioning of new molding equipment.

  Ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.

  Experience in plastic injection molding operations.

  Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, troubleshooting techniques, and mechanical components.

  Familiarity with mold setup, maintenance, and optimization.

  Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation.

  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment

Primarily on the manufacturing floor with exposure to machinery and tools. May require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
