A law firm seeks a Private Companies Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join its team in Washington, DC or Reston, Virginia. The role involves advising early-stage and growth-stage companies and their investors on corporate matters, including venture capital financings and liquidity events.

Duties

• Advise venture-backed companies on general corporate matters.
• Guide clients through venture capital financings and liquidity events.
• Collaborate with a national team on high-growth company advisement.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience with early-stage and growth-stage companies.
• Experience in the corporate department of a national or international law firm.
• High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.

Education

• Juris Doctor from a nationally recognized law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
