Privacy Governance Lead

The Privacy Governance Lead is responsible for managing the Privacy Governance team and ensuring the effective execution of the company's privacy governance program. This includes overseeing the Privacy Governance team as they perform enterprise-wide privacy consulting, maintaining expertise in privacy regulations, conducting privacy impact assessments and privacy by design reviews, identifying privacy risks, and assisting in the development of privacy policies, procedures, and training. The Lead will ensure that privacy governance practices are implemented consistently and in alignment with regulatory requirements and internal standards. This role requires strong leadership, operational rigor, and a deep understanding of privacy compliance frameworks.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Manage the Privacy Governance team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Oversee the Privacy Governance team's provision of privacy subject matter expertise and consulting across the enterprise.
• Lead the execution of privacy impact assessments and privacy by design reviews as required.
• Identify privacy risks across business units and coordinate with the Chief Privacy Officer on how to best mitigate those risks.
• Assist with the development and implementation of privacy policies, procedures, and training programs.

Develop and implement compliance plans for all business lines and modalities for the company. Collaborate with executive leadership to maintain effective compliance programs. Regulatory fields may include, but are not limited to, privacy, health care, environmental, transportation, and product compliance. The leader will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for compliance matters and educate and collaborate with leadership as well as business and division teams regarding the impact of existing, new, and changing requirements pertaining to these programs to help ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
