This specific role is to join our Digital Architecture Team as a Principal Software Engineer. Typical responsibilities for this role include:
- Architecting, designing, analyzing, developing, and maintaining test instrument driver abstraction software, common test utility software, and data collection microservices
- Determining user needs and analyzing system capabilities to resolve problems
- Mentoring junior engineers through regular design and code reviews, and providing guidance on best practices, coding standards, and software development principles
- Testing and integrating common software on RF and digital test equipment
Hybrid: Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform work onsite, some efforts may be (mostly) full time on-site. Work that can be done remotely will allow for a hybrid working environment.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
- Strong understanding of .NET, .NET Framework and experience programming in C#
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
- Strong Technical Communication
- Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years' work experience (min) or equivalent experience
- Possess good interpersonal and team communication skills
- Takes initiative with general guidance and has a closure-oriented nature
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
- Programming Languages: C#, Python, NI TestStand
- Experience with Automated Test and Measurement Software Development
- Experience in factory production test stands, problem isolation and resolution. Debug skills.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
- Unit Under Test (UUT) emulation and simulation
- Unit Test Driven Software Design
- Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic manufacturing environment, with the ability to pivot quickly to address unexpected factory support issues, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously, even in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to thrive in a rapidly expanding team environment, with a willingness to adapt to new roles, responsibilities, and processes as the organization grows and evolves
Pay Information:
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825. Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
