Our client, the aerospace industry leader, is seeking a Principal Propulsion Systems Engineer to join their team. As a Principal Propulsion Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Engines & Power Systems department supporting aerospace propulsion development. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, innovative thinking, and excellent collaboration abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

  Lead the design and development of advanced propulsion systems, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and regulatory standards.

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams including aerodynamics, materials science, and systems engineering to integrate engine designs with overall aircraft architecture.

  Conduct simulations and testing to validate engine performance and reliability, analyzing data to inform design improvements.

  Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure development milestones are achieved efficiently.

  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new technologies and industry methods, participating in conferences and continuous education.

What's Needed?

  Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred.

• n

  10-15 years of experience in aerospace propulsion systems, with a solid understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and materials.

  Proficiency in CAD software, simulation tools, and project management methodologies.

• n

  Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

  Excellent communication skills to provide technical advice and collaborate across departments.
