Principal IT Solution Consultant

Onsite It Solution Consultant

Apex Systems is looking to hire an Onsite IT Solution Consultant for our client based out of Greensboro, North Carolina.

This assignment is anticipated to be a 12-month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment. This will also have a first shift Monday-Friday schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Lead in delivering the identified solution.
• Deliver specific parts of a solution throughout a project or assignment.
• Capture business needs regarding enhancements and new implementation of processes and tools.
• Make commitments within the tasks/frameworks given by the customer or business partner, project manager, or solution.
• Propose changes to make the solution more efficient and/or reduce operation or maintenance costs.
• Ensure applicable IT security directives are followed for the service.
• Describe the process and specify high-level requirements for IT solutions to support business processes within a project.
• Evaluate how partner strategy fits with the client's strategy, highlighting areas where influence can be used in different forums.
• Contribute to comparisons and be aware of competing products and offers.
• Skilled in evaluating and recommending solutions/way forward/options.
• Act as a global evangelizer in the domain.

Experience:

• Extensive knowledge of business processes and platform components or modules supporting those processes.
• Functional expertise in configuring identified business processes using customized tools.
• Experience in designing required integrations or specific developments.
• Ability to ensure adherence to platform standard solutions.
• Skilled in evaluating and recommending solutions/way forward/options.
• Known as an expert in your area within the IT community.
• Experience in representing the IT team by contributing to external expert networks.
• Proven track record of improving productivity for colleagues and setting a positive example for quality and responsibility.
