Job Purpose and Impact
The Principal Cybersecurity Technology Operations Lead will spearhead the strategic design, implementation, and enhancement of cybersecurity technologies within our organization. As a recognized expert in cyber engineering and operations, this role is vital for maintaining the security and integrity of our cyber systems and networks. You will have a significant focus on data security, endpoint protection, and AI-enabled security measures.
Key Accountabilities
- Cybersecurity Technologies: Guide and mentor the design, implementation, and advancement of cybersecurity protective technologies, including endpoint detection, response systems, cloud protections, and network security.
- Technology Management: Oversee the management of endpoint detection, cloud infrastructure controls, partner gateways, IoT security, and collaboration tools, evaluating potential risks and identifying compliance gaps.
- Co-Creation with IT Operations: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance shared infrastructure initiatives and elevate cybersecurity measures.
- IT Service Management Interfaces: Advise on the operation of all IT service management processes, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Research Security Needs: Conduct in-depth analysis of complex security needs, including requirement definition, risk assessments, and systems analysis.
- Security Policies: Develop complex security policies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Incident Response: Lead advanced incident response efforts, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity strategies.
- Collaboration: Foster partnerships with cybersecurity peers, data privacy teams, industry experts, and external organizations to support effective cybersecurity initiatives and achieve business objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience, typically expecting 10+ years of expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview and Information Rights Management.
- Proven proficiency in email security methodologies.
Compensation Data
The expected salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $200,000, variability based on factors such as location, certifications, education, and experience. This role may include a discretionary incentive award based on both company and individual performance. Cargill prioritizes employee welfare and offers a comprehensive benefits program, including medical care and other benefits matching the position's requirements. Additionally, there is a provision for sick leave at a rate of one hour per every 30 worked, up to 48 hours annually.
