Stamping Press Operator-2nd Shift

We are seeking a dedicated Stamping Press Operator for our second shift. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a stamping press, while ensuring the quality of parts produced from steel coils. This is a direct placement opportunity.

Responsibilities

Set up and start the machine, running it independently.
Load and adjust steel coils for processing.
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Bend and load coils into the die.
Operate cranes when necessary.
Perform power lockout procedures.
Use the ERP system, Plex, for operational tasks.

Essential Skills

1-2 years of experience with press brake operations.
Background in manufacturing metal stamping.
Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and gauges for inspection.
Ability to troubleshoot minor issues independently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with the ERP system known as Plex.
Hilo driving experience.

Work Environment

The work environment involves operating machinery in a manufacturing setting during the second shift, from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential for Saturday shifts. Training for hilo driving is provided, and you will utilize the Plex ERP system. Safety protocols, including power lockout procedures, are a key aspect of the operations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41496.00 - $41496.00/yr.
