Lead Teacher Opportunity At The Goddard School

The Goddard School located in Wheaton/Carol Stream, is looking for a caring and energetic lead teacher to join our team! We are looking for individuals who can use their creativity and Goddard's learning-through-play program as a basis for unique lesson plans that are brought to life in a fun and imaginative way, to instill a life-long love of learning! We are looking for someone who is patient, courteous, and professional with children, parents, and co-workers.

Lead teacher responsibilities include:

Maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
Planning and implementing project-based lesson plans that match student's development needs and interests.
Interacting with children to support play, exploration, and learning.
Establishing positive communications with the parents.
Performing observations to be documented in each child's portfolio and assessments as needed.
