A premier Am Law firm with a strong presence in San Francisco is seeking a dynamic Practice Innovation Attorney to join its Intellectual Property and Technology group. This forward-thinking position offers a unique opportunity to lead cutting-edge initiatives focused on integrating artificial intelligence and advanced legal technologies into core legal workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with practice groups and business teams to implement legal tech and AI solutions.
• Lead educational sessions for attorneys and staff on emerging legal technologies.
• Develop best practices, training content, and resource guides for tech adoption.
• Provide research support leveraging AI tools and traditional legal methods.
• Monitor legal tech trends and recommend innovative tools for firm-wide deployment.
• Create and manage legal alerts on industry updates and regulatory changes.
• Analyze research patterns to identify additional training opportunities.
• Present training sessions to global audiences across different time zones.
• Review and assess information services and legal tech vendor agreements.
• Support special projects, including after-hours legal research monitoring.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school (Master’s in Library Science a plus).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a corporate/litigation attorney or legal researcher.
• Familiarity with legal AI, automation, and other advanced technologies.
• Strong interest in legal innovation and digital transformation.
• Exceptional communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Collaborative team player with a service-first mindset and growth orientation.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
