Job Title: Mechanical Planner/Scheduler--- Bennettsville, SC

Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Mechanical Planner for on-going maintenance role in Bennettsville, SC.

Serve as a planner and technical resource for developing job plans, inputting project data, maintaining current tracking data, and assisting Maintenance team with other facets of the job.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and update detailed project and equipment planning data on SAP or Excel.
• Keep detailed project cost tracking for labor, materials, subcontractors, etc.
• Assist in investigating equipment failures and resolve issues.
• Stand-in for departmental vacancies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work with the engineering team to plan for upcoming projects.

Experience:

• SAP, Excel and Word experience
• Strong communication skills oral, written and listening
• Able to communicate with others in a professional, concise manner
• Strong analytical problem solving skills
• Knowledge of various mechanical systems

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years' experience working on scheduling of projects

• Knowledge of critical path method of scheduling
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:

• Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
• May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
• Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
• Must have full range of motion consistent with age
• Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
• Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
• Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
• Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.

Preferred Education:

High School or better.

Required Experience:

3 years: Minimum of 3 years' experience working on scheduling of projects

Knowledge of mechanical systems.

Micro Project, Excel and Word experience.

Ability to plan and update outage schedules on MS Project or Excel.
