PPM Crane Operator (SKIPPERS) 7.1

Job Summary

MOR PPM Inc. is seeking qualified crane operators for a project located in Skippers, VA. This job is per diem eligible.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Shall be able to operate crane to lift, move and position loads.
2. Observe load hookup and determine safety of load.
3. Several documented years of experience running overhead cranes in a large industrial environment.
4. Knowledge of and follow all OSHA standards in rigging, material handling, and signals.

Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Crane Operator.
• NCCCO Overhead Crane Operator certification required.

Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:

• Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically via DocuSign
• May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
• Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
• Must have full range of motion consistent with age
• Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
• Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
• Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
• Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
