As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Alpharetta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, responding to inquiries and assisting with any security-related concerns that may arise. This position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal's driver policy requirements, as you may be responsible for patrolling both on foot and by vehicle. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, which may include both indoor and outdoor areas within a tech, media, or telecom environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access and general inquiries as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and regular patrols.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related incidents and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
