As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol in Duluth, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a financial institution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, responding to any security-related concerns as they arise. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe for any unusual activity and report findings according to site protocols.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or customers with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence during patrols.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
