Job Description

As a Security Officer - Financial Site Patrol in Alpharetta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more.

As a valued member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a financial institution setting. In this unarmed patrol position, your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. You will be the first point of contact for those entering the premises, responding to inquiries with professionalism and care. Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential threats within the financial institution environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related incidents and daily activities.
• Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
