Job Description

Join our team as a Polisher where you will play a vital role in the preparation of machine components by skillfully grinding down sharp parts and polishing surfaces. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality machines for the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Grind down sharp parts of machine components to prepare them for further assembly.

• Polish surfaces to ensure a smooth and safe finish.

• Utilize hand tools effectively for grinding and polishing tasks.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools for production tasks.

• Experience with grinding and polishing techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in assembly processes.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Work Environment

You will work in a small shop environment dedicated to building automated machines for the food industry. The position operates on a first shift schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Forest, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
