Policy Development Manager, Trust and Safety, YouTube

Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust & Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world.

As a Trust and Safety Policy Manager, you're a skilled and experienced manager, adept at context and someone who naturally rallies colleagues around shared goals. You will manage a team of policy leads working on various content moderation issues facing the video platform today. You will act as a "player/motivator" on the team, both leading your team and driving independent policy initiatives. The policy team covers a wide variety of topics, and this role will contribute across multiple areas. This will sometimes involve reviewing graphic, controversial, or offensive video content in line with YouTube's Community Guidelines and our policies for the YouTube Partner Program.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$236,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
