Plumber Pay PAY $20 Upto $32/hr (PER DM UPTO $100)

Travel Plumber Mechanic / Lead

We are seeking experienced Plumber Mechanics and Leads with a strong skill set in commercial plumbing for multiple job sites in Lynchburg, VA. The position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience for mechanics and 5 years for lead roles.

Responsibilities:

• Lead or assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.
• Run and press copper, PVC, and cast iron pipes.
• Read and interpret blueprint drawings.
• Manage and lead small crews, including mechanics and helpers.
• Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to work sites.
• Perform labor duties related to plumbing systems and ensure work areas are clean.

Essential Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a commercial plumber.
• Journeyman or Master Plumber's License preferred.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and working with cast iron, copper, and PVC pipes.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs and work in various physical positions.
• Excellent people skills and the ability to work well with others.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in new construction environments.
• Ability to manage a crew of 1-4 people is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and a positive attitude.

Work Environment:

Work sites are located in Lynchburg, VA, with hours from Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm, and some Fridays and Saturdays. The environment requires working in varying temperatures and all weather conditions. Punctuality and reliability are crucial, as is a positive attitude.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lynchburg, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
