Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Plumber Helper to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with over one year of experience in plumbing and a passion for building a career in this field. You will assist our full-time technicians on various projects.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down project sites.

• Prepare material lists and tools.

• Follow directions from the foreman.

• Assist in rough-in and fixture installation.

• Clean fittings.

• Perform other various duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Plumbing

• Construction

• Blueprint reading

• Familiarity with PVC and copper pipes

• Knowledge of tools and layout for plumbing projects

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least 1 year of plumbing experience

• Experience with pipe systems, fixtures, fittings, and PEX

Work Environment

Work on diverse projects including hospitals, educational institutions, manufacturing facilities, and restaurants. Crews typically consist of one lead technician and one or two plumbers/helpers. Work hours are generally from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with variations depending on client site access. Dress code includes jeans and safety shoes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ALLENTOWN, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
