Plc/Controls Engineer

Selectek is partnering with a company located near Utica, Michigan to fill a PLC/Controls Engineer role. This client is seeking an experienced candidate to work on assembly and gauging machinery.

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Expected Pay Range: $95,000-$115,000 annually plus bonuses, depending on experience Location: Utica, MI area

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working in automation and controls programming
• PLC programming and configuration using Step and State Logic
• Proficiency in Allen-Bradley PLC/HMI ecosystem
• Experience with Fanuc and ABB robotic programming
• Ethernet IP experience

In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the client's request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Details:

• Develop, program, and debug PLC/HMI systems
• Program multi-station assembly and test systems
• Configure SCADA systems
• Integrate Motion Control system
• Interface with program managers, mechanical designers, and manufacturing team throughout project life cycle
• Travel for commissioning and startup of machinery

Schedule: Monday Friday, normal work hours. Some Saturday 7:30a-12p shifts may be required, depending on workload or project timelines.
