Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to work on security for our platforms and frameworks. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Gaining familiarity with existing codebases and contributing to security enhancement projects such as memory safety, sandboxing, and refactoring.
2. Updating or creating software codebases using languages like Swift, Objective-C, or C++ to meet security objectives.
3. Implementing and updating unit tests, collaborating with QA teams for functional testing.
4. Documenting architectural changes and creating training materials for ongoing maintenance.
5. Communicating effectively throughout all project phases.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of system programming languages such as C, C++, Swift, or Rust.
• Understanding of system-level concepts including multi-threading and resource management.
• Ability to assess the security and robustness of software.
• Quick learner with adaptability to new codebases and project requirements.
• Experience with object-oriented design principles.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Enthusiastic, empathetic, and collaborative attitude.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in using Swift to enhance security in system libraries and services.
• Experience optimizing runtime performance of system libraries or compute-intensive applications.
