Are you a results-driven leader with a passion for operational excellence in food manufacturing? We're looking for a hands-on Plant Manager to oversee daily operations in our food production facility. This role calls for a strategic thinker and strong motivator who can balance productivity, safety, quality, and team development all while driving continuous improvement and exceeding performance goals.

As Plant Manager, you'll lead all aspects of plant operations, including production, warehouse, quality, maintenance, sanitation, and employee development. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while achieving ambitious goals for efficiency, quality, and safety.

Key responsibilities:

• Direct overall plant operations to ensure efficient, cost-effective production and timely distribution of high-quality products.
• Partner with department leaders across maintenance, quality assurance, warehouse, sanitation, HR, and finance to align strategies and meet business objectives.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and collaboration.
• Monitor workflows, production schedules, and process controls to maintain on-time delivery and achieve production targets.
• Oversee equipment performance, coordinate repairs, and recommend upgrades to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, safety, and operational excellence.
• Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with USDA, FDA, and company standards.
• Lead conflict resolution, coach employees, and support workforce engagement across all levels.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a USDA- or FDA-regulated food manufacturing or packaging facility RTE experience highly preferred.
• Proven success managing plant operations, production scheduling, and workforce planning.
• Solid understanding of food safety protocols; HACCP certification strongly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills with a "no job too small" mindset.
• Proficiency with MS Office and other plant management systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and lifting up to 50 lbs when needed.
