Plant Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify performance gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage cost structures, pricing strategies, and margin evaluations to support business decisions.
• Develop and maintain accurate labor and overhead rates to reflect true costs in a standard cost environment.
• Perform detailed cost accounting tasks, including variance analysis and cost validation, to ensure reliable product costing.
• Lead monthly financial close activities and prepare reports for internal stakeholders and corporate leadership.
• Facilitate regular reviews of key performance indicators and guide cross-functional teams in executing both short- and long-term improvement plans.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance across business processes.
• Coordinate and manage annual physical inventory counts and support audits from customers or government entities.
• Evaluate capital investment proposals and provide financial projections to support decision-making.

Essential Skills:

• Expertise in financial analysis, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in forecasting, financial modeling, and financial planning and analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong experience in month-end financial processes and variance analysis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in accounting and finance.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
