Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter/Fitter with experience in welding and blueprint reading to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems for various projects. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and the ability to interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings.

Pay: $32hr

Shift: 7am-4:30pm.

Job Site: Columbia, TN

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine pipe layout and installation requirements.

• Cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes using appropriate tools and techniques.

• Perform welding operations on pipes using TIG, MIG, or stick welding methods as required.

• Inspect and test piping systems for leaks, durability, and compliance with safety regulations.

• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other trades to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.

• Follow safety protocols, industry standards, and company guidelines at all times.

• Troubleshoot piping issues and perform necessary repairs or modifications.

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Work Environment

This position involves working on commercial construction projects. The work schedule consists of four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday. The role will require traveling to Columbia for a month, followed by a month at another project location, and then returning to Columbia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
