Pickleball Instructor/Coordinator

Treviso Bay Country Club is seeking a passionate and experienced Pickleball Instructor/Coordinator to lead and grow our vibrant pickleball program. This role blends hands-on instruction with strategic program development and member engagement. The ideal candidate thrives in a private club setting, brings energy and expertise to the court, and is dedicated to delivering outstanding service to our members.

Full-time Seasonal: October through April. Additional income from teaching Clinics and Private Lessons.

Position Summary

This role combines on-court instruction with program development and member engagement. The ideal candidate is passionate about pickleball, enjoys working in a private club environment, and is committed to providing exceptional service to members.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide private and group pickleball lessons to players of all ages and skill levels.
• Organize, promote, and manage pickleball events, socials, round robins, and tournaments.
• Implement seasonal pickleball programs and clinics for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players.
• Work with the Director of Racquet Sports to grow participation and elevate the member experience.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all pickleball-related inquiries.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-organized court environment.
• Coordinate whiteboard system
• Enforce club rules and etiquette.
• Actively engage with members to foster community and promote pickleball activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in pickleball or racquet sports.
• Certified Pickleball Instructor (PPR or IPTPA) preferred.
• Strong playing ability with knowledge of rules, strategy, and current trends in the game.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate players of all skill levels.
• Previous experience in a private club or resort environment is a plus.

Schedule

• Full-Time Seasonal: October through April
• Monday Friday
• Saturdays as needed

Compensation

• $20 per hour (base)
• Additional income through:
• Clinics: $35 per participant
• Private lessons: $90 per lesson
