We are seeking a Part-Time Medical Lab Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) specializing in Chemistry to join our team in Rhode Island . This is a great opportunity for a skilled professional looking for a flexible work schedule while still making a significant impact in a clinical laboratory setting.

• Perform a variety of chemistry tests on patient samples, including but not limited to blood and urine.

• Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.

• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.

• Ensure all quality control and assurance procedures are followed.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with laboratory equipment.

• Participate in ongoing educational and training activities to stay current with laboratory techniques and technology.

• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate test results.

• MLT/MT certification required (ASCP or equivalent).

• Associate s degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or related field for MLT or Bachelor's degree for MT .

• Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting, specifically in chemistry, preferred.

• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety standards and best practices.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
