We are seeking a board-certified Interventional Radiologist for a locum tenens assignment in the Ashford area, with potential opportunities for locum-to-permanent transition.

• Location : Washington State, near Ashford
• Position : Locum Tenens - Interventional Radiology Physician
• Setting : Hospital-based practice in a Level 3 Trauma Center
• Schedule :
  • Day Shift : 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Call Coverage : Required for the full week if on rotation
  • Weekend Requirements : Full 24-hour call coverage on Saturdays and Sundays
• Caseload : Approximately 8-11 cases daily, with a high volume of paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies

• Emergency Volume : Approximately 55,000 annual ER visits
• EMR System : EPIC, with teleradiology support via Philips ISite platform
• Support Staff : Includes two local interventional radiologists and a team of IR support professionals

• Conduct a variety of imaging and interventional procedures:
  • Required Imaging Procedures : Angiography, CT, and Ultrasound
  • Required Interventional Procedures : Angioplasty, stent placement, chemoembolization, embolization, aortic aneurysm endograft stenting, needle biopsies, thrombolysis, and kyphoplasty
• Collaborate with a large team of radiologists across the health system

• Board Certification : AOBR or ABR in Interventional Radiology Required
• Fellowship Training : Strongly preferred in Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Licensure : Active Washington State medical license Required
• Certifications : ACLS certification Required

• Timeframe : Approximately 3-4 months to complete credentialing
