Physician / Nurse Practitioner / South Dakota / Permanent / Inpatient Gastroenterologist opening in Rapid City, SD Job

• Full-time position
• You will be joining two other inpatient GI physicians
• APP support provided 7 days a week
• This is a consulting service, with all admissions done by hospitalist and intensivist services
• Advanced GI training a plus but not required
• GI group includes two fellowship-trained advanced GI specialists, but with this position, ERCP/EUS work on the inpatient service can be done by fully-qualified physicians who wish to do so, and additional compensation will be provided
• Epic EMR and the latest Provation for endoscopy documentation
• State-of-the-art endoscopy suite with experienced staff
• Hepatology/transplant support provided by visiting subspecialists twice a month, and we have a full-time experienced hepatology APP
• Experienced general surgery group with 24/7 in-house trauma/ACS service
• Colorectal fellowship trained surgeon joining our team fall 2025
• Pathology group includes two GI pathology fellowship-trained specialists
• Equity in joint venture endoscopy center is planned to be available by 2027

• Base salary of $800k for 182 shifts
• Contracts for a smaller number of shifts will be considered
• Productivity bonus incentive opportunities start from day one
• Starting and retention bonuses of up to $180k
