We are looking for board-certified physicians to fill a locum tenens position focusing on Traumatic Brain Injury and General Medicine. This flexible opportunity allows you to support veterans by conducting important health assessments with no ongoing treatment responsibilities.

• Profession : Physician specializing in Traumatic Brain Injury and General Medicine
• Schedule : PRN basis, with options for half-days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours)
• Exam Types :
  • Non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams
  • Separation health assessments
• Exam Focus :
  • Interview-based assessments
  • Physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing
  • Evaluating traumatic brain injuries
  • Combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury evaluations
• Treatment : No prescribing or treatment required

• Travel to perform exams at leased facilities
• Schedule Veterans within your own practice

• Board Certification : Must be board-certified in one of the following specialties:
  • Neurology
  • Neurosurgery
  • Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
• State License : California
• Technology : Must have a personal laptop (no MACs)
• Skills and Proficiencies :
  • Proficient in using a goniometer
  • Familiar with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions
  • Experienced in METs testing and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions

• Quick Credentialing & Onboarding
• DMA Certification Available : Earn CME credits; certification required upon privileging but not reimbursed by the client
• Training Provided : Comprehensive training for Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)
• Reporting : DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours of exam completion (no narrative reports required; standardized forms are provided)
