About The Position

New Jersey's largest health system and a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award recipient, is seeking a visionary Chief of Gastroenterology to lead a dynamic academic division. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to shape GI care, research, and education in alignment with AtlantiCare's Vision 2030 transformation strategy .

Role Overview:

• Lead the design and growth of a comprehensive GI program

• Oversee clinical care, education, and research initiatives

• Expand advanced GI services including complex endoscopy

• Recruit, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary GI team

• Collaborate with top partners including Drexel University & Cleveland Clinic

• Provide direct care and consultation for complex GI cases

• Support innovation in workforce development and community access

Schedule & Call:

• Full-time, days (8 AM - 5 PM)

• Manageable 1:4 call schedule , supported by APPs & hospitalists

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology - Required

• Active NJ medical license (or willingness to obtain)

• BLS, ACLS, DEA, CSR/CDS required prior to start

• Minimum: 3+ years post-fellowship, leadership/program development experience preferred

• Not open to new grads, APPs, locums, 1099, or visa sponsorship

• $100,000 Sign-On Bonus
