General Dentist

Pay Rate: $112 / hour *1099 one M-Thu 7-530p and other T-F same hours Claremore location It's outpatient clinic We have a dental assistant budgeted for every chair. 2 hygenists budgeted with 1 currently. We have a pediatric dentists so this general dentist would be seeing adults. Dentrix emr.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and Treat Dental Issues: Examine patients' teeth and gums to identify problems such as cavities, gum disease, and oral cancer.
• Perform Dental Procedures: Carry out a variety of treatments, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and preventive care like cleanings and sealants.
• Patient Education: Advise patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to maintain their dental health.
• Collaborate with Dental Team: Work alongside dental hygienists, assistants, and specialists to provide comprehensive care to patients.
• Maintain Records: Keep accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes, ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school.
• Licensure: Active dental license in OK.
• Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, but new graduates may also be considered.
