We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Hospitalist Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Manchester, NH. This position offers an exciting chance to work with a highly collaborative medical team in a hospital setting, providing high-quality care to patients and engaging with medical education initiatives. The facility is looking for flexible physicians who can adapt to various shift patterns, including days, nights, and weekends.

• Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing
• Assignment: Full-time locum need, equivalent to 2 FTEs
• Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (day and night shifts available)
• Block Schedule: 7 on/7 off
• Shift Requirements: Providers must be willing to work 7 consecutive shifts, preferably 2 weeks per month.

• Patient Load: 16-20 patient visits per day, per physician.
• Hospital Setting: The hospital has a closed ICU, and no procedures are required from hospitalist physicians. This allows the team to focus on patient care, hospital operations, and medical education.
• Call Rotation: Call coverage is rotated, and the provider must be open to working both day and night shifts as needed. Weekend coverage is also required.
• Mentorship and Teaching: The ideal candidate will be excited to teach and mentor the next generation of physicians, engaging in various aspects of hospital operations and medical education.

• Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (FM).
• Licensing: Must have or be willing to obtain an active New Hampshire state medical license.
• Experience: Prior experience as a hospitalist is required, along with the ability to manage a fast-paced environment.
• EMR System: Meditech is the EMR used at the hospital. Training on this system will be provided if needed.

• Flexibility: The locum tenens physician must be flexible with shift coverage, as there is a need for both day and night shifts.
• Collaborative Team: Join a dedicated team that includes two nocturnists, offering additional support during night shifts.
• Closed ICU: No ICU procedures required, allowing the hospitalist team to focus on patient management and care.
• Teaching Opportunities: This role provides an excellent opportunity to engage in medical education and hospital operations, contributing to the development of the hospital's future physicians.

• Availability: The ideal candidate is available to work 7 consecutive shifts (12-hour shifts) and is open to working both day and night rotations. They should be comfortable with a 7 on/7 off schedule and able to provide flexible coverage for days, nights, and weekends.
