• Weekend Requirements :
  • Every other weekend hospital rounding
  • Weekend call: Friday 12:00 PM - Monday 8:00 AM (or Tuesday 8:00 AM if Monday is a holiday)

• Patient Volume :
  • Outpatient clinic: Approximately 20 patients per day
  • Inpatient: 4 to 10 patients per day

• Primary Responsibilities :
  • Provide general gastroenterology services for both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Perform procedures such as Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) and Colonoscopy with biopsy and cautery

• Certifications Required :
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Board Certification : Required in Gastroenterology
• State License : Texas

The locum tenens physician will be covering for a GI provider on FMLA, providing essential care to patients in a suburban setting. The position offers a well-rounded experience with a mix of clinical and hospital-based work, supported by a capable team of healthcare professionals.
