Physician / Family Practice / Minnesota / Locum or Permanent / Family Medicine Physician Opening in Central MN - Inpatient/Outpatient Split Job

Seeking a BE/BC Family Medicine Physician looking to maintain a mix of both outpatient and inpatient medicine in central Minnesota.
Outpatient Position Details:

• Roughly 8 days of clinic, spread over 3 weeks
• Broad Primary Care Practice
• Multispecialty Clinic with support from specialists and ancillary services
• Clinic site has 5 Family Physicians
• No OB, but prenatal care is an option
• Telephone call 1:26, peds call only
• 16-22 patients per day
• This position is to prepare for anticipated retirements

Inpatient Position Details:

• Half-time Hospitalists work 1, 7-on shift, per month
• Day shift, only
• Partner with existing Hospitalist Program of both full and half-time providers
• Schedule 12 hours shifts with 2-3 weeks of nights; rest of the shifts are days
• Hospitalists will cover ICU, with consultative intensivist support
• Total number of physicians in specialty currently in department at practice site: 7
• The practice is fully staffed with 8-9 hospitalists
• Average inpatient practice volume per day: Med Surg-71 / ICU-10; divided between 3-4 rounding hospitalist, who also share admissions
• Average daily census on unit: 50-60

Salary and Benefit Package:

• Compensation: $300,317 - $337,000
• Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation
