We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position near Houston, TX. Shift Schedule:

• Shift Times :
  • 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
  • 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM
  • 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • Potential additional shift to be added
• Call Requirements : No call involved

Procedures and Responsibilities:

• Required Procedures : All ED-relevant procedures
• Support Staff : Robust support team including nurses, advanced practitioners, and specialists on-call
• Physicians on Staff per Shift : 2

Facility Features:

• Trauma Center : Level 2, handling a wide range of emergency cases with high acuity
• Comprehensive Stroke Center : Yes
• Pediatric Emergency Department : Separate and dedicated
• On-Site OB with OB ED : Yes

Requirements:

• Experience : Prior experience in a high-acuity ER setting preferred
• Certifications : Board certification in Emergency Medicine required
• Licensing : Must hold a current Texas medical license
• Duration : Initial duration of 3 months with the potential for extension
